National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter of 2024:

• labour underutilization rate was 8,7%, increasing by 1,0 percentage points compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 (9,7%);

• the ILO unemployment rate was 3,9%, increasing by 1,0 percentage points than in the fourth quarter of 2023 (4,9%);

• the combined rate of underemployment and unemployment was 6,3%, decreasing by 1,0 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 (7,3%);

• the combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force rate at country level was 6,3%, increasing by 1.1 percentage points compared to fourth quarter of 2023 (7,4%).
